Custom Vinyl Graphics as a Wall Decoration

Homeowners and interior designers are always looking for interesting ways to decorate a home's walls.  Pictures, paintings, maps, murals, quilts, and intricate paint jobs are all attractive - albeit common - ways to cover walls.  Yet, as far as uniqueness is concerned, no wall decoration is better than custom vinyl graphics.

Vinyl is a synthetic material made primarily of plastic.  When cut thin, vinyl is the perfect material to use when adding graphics to a wall.  By adding a layer of adhesive to the back, vinyl graphics can be fastened to any wall in the house and make for a one of a kind decoration.

The following room-by-room guide presents different ideas for homeowners who are looking to add vinyl graphics to their house:

·         Kitchen/Dining room: Using different colored vinyl graphics, you can line the kitchen walls with grape vines and images of herbs and spices.  Others might choose to put quirky or profound quotes on the walls in the kitchen, such as "Kiss the Cook," or "Dinnertime fuels family togetherness."

·         Living Room: Images of flowers or any other element of nature would add elegance and style to any living room.  If nature settings aren't your cup of tea, then you may want to add some life to the living room's window treatments by lining the frame with specially designed vinyl graphics that match the window's blinds.

·         Bedroom:  Some homeowners may use vinyl graphics to display the wings of an angel over a bed, so that someone is watching over them as they sleep.  In the kid's bedroom, parents may choose to display their child's name over the crib along with some pink patterns for girls and blue designs for boys.

Vinyl graphics will allow you to use your creativity and imagination when developing an interior design scheme.  Best of all, if you're unpleased with the graphics, you can simply peel them off without damaging the wall and start anew.
