Lawn Irrigation

lawn irrigation is imperative if you desire a green, lush and thick lawn. Water is one of the main components that must be present for a beautiful lawn. Generally speaking, turf grasses need about ¾” – 1” of water per week to grow and maintain a green appearance. To follow these guidelines you must have a sprinkler system. We specialize in installing and maintaining irrigation and sprinkler systems. Incredilawn is your one-stop-shop for all your lawn care needs from installation, fertilization & weed controltree and shrub disease prevention, and maintenance to sprinkler systems. Here are a few watering tips as follows:

  • Water early in the day. Lawns are usually wet from dew earlier in the day. Midday watering is inefficient because of evaporation. It’s a good idea not to water at night because of the risk of disease.
  • Water thoroughly. When watering make sure to water thoroughly so that the water soaks down to the roots.
  • Uniformly spread water. Water should be uniformly sprayed in equal amounts around the entire lawn. It’s a good idea to place evenly sized cans around the yard and compare water levels from your irrigation system.

Don’t over water. Over watering can make plants prone to disease and pests. This also causes runoff into storm drains that can pollute the water supply. By using the proper amount of water you will reduce disease, pests, water bill and maintenance.
