There is something so relaxing about being surrounded by wildlife and the beauties of nature. Imagine yourself so far removed from the nearest city that you can only hear nature. No sounds from traffic or construction will be able to penetrate through hills and mountains. There are many mountain cabins and cottages that can be rented for days or weeks at a time. If this idea is a little too isolated for your taste, there are plenty of bed and breakfast inns that will allow you the close familiarity of others to associate with while still having your distance from a large city atmosphere.
Northwest Lighthouse Tour
I enjoy sightseeing when I can see places I have never visited. I am particularly drawn to lighthouses. I love to see the contrast they have with the coasts upon which they are built. There is also something very protective about lighthouses. They have done a great job saving lives over the years as they shine their light out to see to show sailors the way home. Even though I tend to visit those lighthouses in the northwest region of the country, there are many beautiful lighthouses to visit in many different parts of the world.
