Business Description
AWF offers a series of self-advocacy programs and workshops for parents to ensure their child(ren) with special needs are receiving all the services and support they need in and out of school.
We also offer advocacy services including:
· Review of IEPs, assessments, testing, report cards, etc.
· Helping parents prepare for their PPT and 504 meetings, or attend with parents if they desire.
· Drafting letters for parents to send to the school district of State Department of Education.
· Helping parents prepare for Mediation or Due Process Hearing and referral to legal counsel.
In addition, we offer S.M.A.R.T. IEP Review to make sure your child?s IEP is:

We also offer a Watch Dog Program, which ensures:
· IEP compliance and implementation management.
· Progress management and tracking.
· Request of child's complete educational file for review. Original files remain in your possession at all times.
· Assessment, evaluation and consultation tracking.
We also offer ?Ask the Advocate,? a Facebook community forum for parents of children with special needs exchanging advocacy advice. Advocates and parents can join and answer any questions posed to the group.
