Animal Care Center was established in 1999 by Dr. Pam Nichols to provide high quality veterinary medicine in a place where all pets are treated like family members. The Animal Care Center was awarded AAHA Certification with honors that same year. AAHA certification and recognition are awarded to approximately 14% of hospitals nationwide that have demonstrated excellence in medicine, surgery, record keeping and a commitment to continuing education and excellence. Dr. Pam has always believed that every pet and pet owner deserves to know and be offered the very best care available in order to make the best decisions for their pet. In order to do that, she has set the highest requirements for both the doctors and staff in training and learning as well as instruction in the use of the newest equipment. This also means that there may be times when you and your pet may be referred to a specialist either within our hospital such as acupuncture with Dr. Verona Scheurich, echocardiopraphy or endoscopy with Dr. Watkins, ultrasound with Dr. Archibald or orthopedics with Dr. Smith or out of our hospital as in the case of the Eye Care Clinic for Animals in Salt Lake City. We are very proud of the longevity of our amazing staff and believe they stay with us because of our commitment to excellence and because we always want the very best for your pet.

Our facility is a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital that houses the K-9 Rehab Center (the only full service physical rehabilitation/therapy center in Utah), deluxe boarding facilities as well as our long time groomer Monica.
