The Project :
Blanco, Diversity Alaska, started in 2011. The purpose for this project was to introduce the Latin culture through music and education and to support diversity in the Alaskan communities. Blanco was founded by professional musician Freddy Caña Anthony's, de Cuba, with the dream of establishing the Latin culture and promote diversity in the northern most state, Alaska. Blanco teamed up with world class musicians to perform and educate throughout the state of Alaska. Blanco with the help from our sponsors across the country, help young thriving musicians to get a little closer to their musical dreams by contributing to a scholarship program that facilitates the ability to pursue their musical education and be able to reach their musical goals. From all of us at Blanco, thank you to all the Artists that have participated and help promote diversity in communities across the globe.
