Blue Iguana, located in the historial Arrow Press Square, serves authentic Mexican cuisine. Their menu features appetizers such as rajas de chile con queso (roasted chile pepper strips with cheese and sour cream), buffalo wing strips and quesadillas; a variety of different types of tacos and burritos; enchiladas with all the fixings such as the seafood enchilada with bay shrimp, scallops, shrimp and yellow tuna smothered in white sauce and topped with melted cheese; and a variety of tostadas, fajitas, and combination plates. Blue Iguana also offers vegetarian entrees for those who don't eat meat but would still like to enjoy Mexican cuisine.

We love Blue Iguana! It is a family favorite! We visit there frequently. My husband loves the chicken enchiladas and I'm a fan of the Carnitas tacos. If you love pork, you have to try those tacos! Highly recommend it!... (more)

This is the best Mexican food in Salt Lake County. They have tables crammed in every corner of the building and they still need more room! Everything is fantastic. My husband like the mole and i got the tostadas. So... (more)

The food was OK. The Salsa's were hot, but not really the fresh kind I expected for such a highly rated mexican place. The Pork dish I had was not good, but the other more standard selections that the others had were fine.... (more)

I went to the Blue Iguana a little while ago because I'd received a gift certificate. I frequent the Red Iguana a lot and hoped the Blue Iguana would be just as good. It wasn't even close. Very average forgettable food,... (more)
