Message from the Business

Classic Italian eatery offers home cooking and familial atmosphere.
Since 1998, great food put Cafe Vico on the top of Italian Restaurants. The executive chef, Marco Vico, and his family introduced Fort Lauderdale to an Italian touch. Voted most romantic atmosphere time and time again, finesse is the key word here and Vico cleverly puts together a menu that will have you on the edge of your seat. No meal is complete without the fabulous house-made pastas. Ravioli is overstuffed with things like crab meat with lobster cream sauce or chicken in cherry sauce with extra impact from fennel-spiked Italian sausage and broccoli rabe. Any of the desserts will send you off into the night with a big smile and don't forget the huge selection of wines. Loyal fans pack the restaurant most every night. Listen to evening recitations for specials.

If i had to guess how many "Authentic" Italian restaurants I've tried around here it would be well over 2 dozen.....and for the money, none of them are even in the same ballpark as Cafe Vico. We go for business lunches to... (more)

Food and service were both top notch. My gnocci were light and the cheese sauce was rich and excellent. The antipasti for two could easily have feed more. My dinner partner's lasagna was not to his liking but was... (more)
