Manhattan transplants and Queens natives can rejoice at JJ's Fusion Kitchen & Sushi Bar located on 31st Avenue in Astoria. Under the direction of French Culinary Institute graduate Chef JJ Lin and her husband Richard this restaurant serves creative and fresh dishes.
An array of French Asian fusion dishes are offered along with quality Sushi. There is even a rice-free Sushi roll called JJ's Roll, wrapped in avocado and is perfect for those on low carb diets. Premium examples of French Fusion dishes appealing to the non-Sushi crowd or those looking for creative change are Seared Blackened Tuna, Miso Glazed Salmon, Charcoaled Grilled Lemongrass Quail with Roasted Pineapple & Baby Octopus Salad all beautifully presented and delicious.
Vegetarians and vegans will love the selection of vegetable dishes prepared in good taste.
