Business Description
Founded in the summer of 2011, Janis' Home Child Care is the realization of a dream for owner and operator Janis Dupuis. With 15 years of experience as both an educator and caretaker for young children along with 22 years of experience as a mother of two, taking care of children is Janis' passion.
After 12 years of teaching kindergarten at the Salem Boys and Girls Club and the YWCA of Greater Lawrence, Janis branched out and began work as a full-time nanny. Although she loved the opportunity to work so closely with a single family at a time, Janis knew she had so much to offer as a child care provider that she seized the opportunity to open her own business. With relentless passion, she started Janis' Home Child Care and became the owner of a fully licensed day care facility in the state of New Hampshire.
The facility at Janis' Home Child Care is the result of a long process designed to recreate Janis' home into a fully-functioning day care center. It offers a large amount of indoor space for learning and play as well as a fenced-in back yard complete with hula hoops, balls, and more!
