Business Description
It is the opinion of Joey Browner, former Minnesota Viking, that most camps are either exclusively orientated towards physical activity while neglecting the educational component or focused towards the educational aspect to the detriment to any physical activity.
Given the importance of physical activity in the maintenance of healthy weight, the Joey Browner Foundation is committed to a plethora of activities to promote a more active lifestyle.
The foundation will encourage giving back to the community from which the applicant has come. Volunteerism is a large part of exercising a persons potential. Volunteerism is a way for kids to cross social and cultural boundaries. A young person helping to build a home can develop an understanding of the difficulties involved for a low-income family when faced with finding decent housing and a teenager who volunteers in a nursing home can get a sense of the loneliness and isolation many elderly people experience.
