Business Description
An Ayurvedic based yoga and massage studio located in the heart of Glen Ridge, NJ, right on the border of Montclair.
We opened The Karuna Shala to express our passion and deep commitment for the work we do. Through the physical and spiritual movement of Yoga, Massage & Bodywork, we have found our true nature and creative spirit. This has infused our lives with a sense of healing, balance, liberation and peace. We feel blessed to have the opportunity to share it with others.
At the Karuna Shala we have the simple belief that a healthy mind, body and spirit leads to a happier, more peaceful life. We strive to provide a sense of balance, strength and confidence through the ancient arts of Yoga and Bodywork in a warm, welcoming environment.
The walls are decorated with colors that heal and balance. Our reception and halls are filled with the art of local artists and artisans. We are committed to keeping our studio green with eco-friendly paints, toxic free cleaners, eco-friendly yoga mats for your use, and recycling all that is recyclable!
