Business Description
Most of my novelettes, novellas, and short stories are inspired by true events and take place only in Texas settings. I attempt to keep my writing style clear and direct, which can be enjoyed from the young to the old. In several of the stories, I provide Texas facts with the violence of self defense battles and natural disasters as well as moving, emotional struggles then combine them with moral fortitude.
Teachers enlighten their students, and one led me into the world of serious writing that mirrored both reality and imagination. However, reading was also a delight when I would visit my older brother's "club house," a one room structure in our backyard. His collection of books and comic books lived on shelves that reached all the way to the ceiling. They thrilled me and greatly contributed to my interest in writing. Decades later the dream has come true as Literary Works By Nancy Reil Riojas grows. Thousands of authors offer stories, but not all move the human heart. That is my goal, to move yours.
