Business Description
We are a family owned hydroponic strawberry farm and business from the Skaneateles, New York area, farming about 1,400 acres. After much research about hydroponic growing, we decided to open Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farm in July of 2009. We have always enjoyed gardening but didn't always enjoy all the weeding that goes along with it. We went to another u- pick hydroponic place and liked it so much that the owners asked us if we were interested in buying it because they could not make it work at the location where they were. We are now in our fourth season and are expanding to add another 10,000 plants making our operation a total of 25,000 plants. We also have about 1,000 vegetables plants that you can pick or purchase in our country farm store too.
