Named after the Yangtze River, the longest river in China that winds through the valleys of Central China and flows out into the East China Sea to Korea and Japan, the Yangtze Restaurant highlights cuisines from the regions the river flows through. Specialities include dishes from Sishuan Province, Hubei Province, Hunan Province, Jiansui Province, Anhui Province, Jaiansu Province, Japan, Korea and Thailand. With their affordable large selection to choose from, the food and atmosphere is great for lunch or dinner.

Not recomended. Undercooked or overcooked food. Pleasant staff, nice location, but lacks authenticity. It should stick to one country rather than Chinese, Thai and Japanese. (more)

I always stop at Yangtze whenever I'm at the 3rd st. promenade. If you sit at the sushi bar, most rolls are half price. Every tastes great and the staff is very attentive. (more)

A few weeks ago my fiance & I were looking for a quick bite before a movie and decided to give this place a try -- we figured it couldn't be that bad if they got an "A" grade and we were really in the mood for sushi. This place is... (more)

I live four blocks from Yangtze and work less than 2 miles away. Yangtze used to be my favorite sushi spot and I ordered food from there at least 3 to 4 times a week, but I don't think I will ever eat there again. I ordered... (more)

My first time to CA and my husband's maiden return after 9 years. To sum it up...poor service, horrible food, over priced, below quality sushi. I love sushi and expected better from a coastal area. I also expected... (more)

I signed up for Citysearch just so I could express my frustration with Yangtze. Despite living a block away, we have determined never to return. What bothers me most is not the horrible service itself, but rather how... (more)
