I used to come here all the time for Sunday brunch, but these days it's hard to get a spot on a weekend (even on a Friday). The wait is THAT long. Their biscuits are to die for, the food is delicious, and the service is great.... (more)

I was somewhat upset waiting an hour to get into this place. I was upset for exactly that long. Once I saw the interior, I felt like this was my kind of place. Once I saw the meals... I can say I am officially hooked. I am... (more)

excessive portions, wait times, and prices. the food is good. so what? does that justify waiting 45 minutes to get a table for 2 for a weekend brunch, and spending $11 for a pancake? Why is the pancake so expensive? Is... (more)

They definitly do not skim on the serving size. when you order a BLT you get practically a pund of bacon. When you order a lunch salad you could feed a family of four. This place gives you your moneys worth and then some.... (more)

The portions here are huge (think italian family dining portions, only it's a serving for ONE here). This place is really busy and is best known for their breakfast items. Their pancakes are the size of manhole covers... (more)

The first time you go to Hash House, you will be overwhelmed with the amount of food. On the weekends, they will have long line, but it is well worth it. (more)

I agree with previous reviewer. Lots of smiles and enthusiastic service, which makes a big difference. The portions are out of this world. You will not believe your eyes. (more)

Great Experience! All the people working here have great attitudes. Food was great. A bit pricey, but the portions were HUGE! Enough for two people. If it is a chilly morning, wait to sit inside. The patio has... (more)

One of the first weekends my wife and I lived in San Diego, we heard rave reviews of this place for breakfast. Having dined there, I'm not sure if we would ever go back. We were warned to get their early (especially on... (more)

Hash House has consistently (the 2 times I've been there) gave me the best breakfast experience of my life. The service is great (think friendly, normal-sized suicide girls,) the atmosphere is original... (more)

Based on the reviews of this restaurant, my family and I were eager to try this place out. We were extremely disappointed with the food. Yes, you get huge portions, but that is not a positive thing when the food is bland... (more)

My original intention was to visit this place for its mouth-watering breakfast menu, but due to time constraints, my family ended up here for dinner - sure glad it worked out that way! The service was super-friendly,... (more)

Sometimes I feel as though the ginormous portions detract from the skillful preperation of the food. The menu is innovative and easy to navigate and who could resist the likes of their house scrambles? with sure fire... (more)

Without a doubt, Hash House has the best breakfast in the city. Granted, the lines can be atrocious on a Saturday or Sunday morning, but even a 30-minute wait in the mid-summer morning sun shouldn't deter you from... (more)

I had heard so many great things about the Hash House, so I took my husband one morning for breakfast. We didn't have to wait long for two, only about ten minutes, but I can see how the wait could have been much longer. The... (more)

Though the wait on weekends for breakfast can be a long time (30-1 hour) the food makes up for it and makes you realize why many of the people do not mind waiting for a table. I like going there for breakfast on weekends and... (more)

The wait is really long on Sat. and Sun. mornings, but it's really good. The plates of food are absolutely enormous--I had breakfast, took home the leftovers, and had enough for both lunch and dinner. There are lots of... (more)
