I know that downtown doesn't have much choice at lunch, but it was like buying food at the cart on the parking lot....no dignity! food looks ok, but I don't know how they keep it safe, I saw them hauling food from car, but... (more)

Long lines doesn't necessarily mean good food. It's the only sit down Indian restaurant for blocks, that's probably the only reason it's popular. That's the only reason I went.... But it's faster and cheaper than... (more)

Good price. Bad food. I has the chicken vandloo with saag as the vegetable. Both were under spiced. The rice is also not Indian basmatti. The nan is store made. Don't bother with this spot.... (more)

Gandhi's has become my favorite downtown lunch spot. It's a great getaway where you are just as comfortable talking w/coworkers or dining by yourself and reading a newspaper. The line is often long but moves... (more)

Oh holy god, my lunch visit to Ghandi's last Thursday was my last. After throwing up much of my lunch and staying up all night, vigilant with nausea, I have few kind words to give this food stand. I will never go here... (more)

I am a regular customer of Gandhi's and have even had the restaurant cater my birthday party. The food is always fresh and so good. The owner/chef, Dhillon, cooks the food fresh everyday. Not only is it delicious but... (more)

Super-cheap, fast, friendly service, and great Indian food. You cannot beat this value - I ordered the chicken vindaloo (only $5.00 for a huge portion, and very tasty) which comes with a vegetable side and some rice.... (more)

I wondered in this cute little lunch area just at closing yesterday. Gandhi's was the only food stand still open. The guy behind the counter was very helpful offering samples of everything that wasn't sold out. The... (more)

Given the price, it's above average. Creamed spinach is usually a favorite, but very sub-par here. However, the chicken dishes are very good. I appreciate more bang for the buck, but they provide too much rice. No... (more)
