Simple niche but really good. I love their pulled pork, and usually get it Hot. Will warn you this is equivalent to 5 star Thai. 4 stars because parking is hard during rush hr. (more)

Great place to pick up a bbq sandwhich. Located in an old gas station. Open limited hours and often a line up. A testimony to the great food and consistent quality. (more)

It just tastes good. The sauce is good and I recommend 'spiking' it, which means adding a hotlink to your sandwich. You really can't go wrong by eating here. (more)

If your in the mood for a sandwich, you cant do much better in Seattle than Pecos. Pulled pork and beef, or sliced beef, those are your choices. No indoor seating, cash only. Pure, Simple, I love it! Besides the... (more)

Made the trip solely because of the fantastic reviews. Not completely disappointed, but this is not by a long shot the best BBQ I've ever had. The main question I had was - Where's the flavor? Watery sauce somewhat... (more)

I love Pecos Pit. I've been going for several years and Debra recognizes me on sight now. I get the pork medium hot with a spike. If you get it wrapped for dinner for an extra $.25, they separate bun, meat and sauce, which... (more)

I've been fortunate to have been enjoying the sliced beef, pork & shredded pork (and yes, "spike it" for the spice) for almost 25 years. The menu is simple, the food great, the sauce flavorful and the heat as hot as you'd... (more)

Let me start by saying that I don't consider myself anything close to a BBQ expert. I'm skeptical of it because it's usually too sweet for my taste. I don't like BBQ sauce that tastes too much of sugar and/or... (more)

I've been coming here since 1992 and I still love eating a Hot Pecos Beef, side spiked w/ beans more than anything else I've ever had. It is just amazing food and I'm so glad we've had them here all this time. With warm,... (more)

I and my friends have been eating here for years. The sandwiches are a generous portions of their fine meats...something hard to find at other BBQ joints. Their meats are also an excellent example of slow-smoked pork... (more)

Come to Pecos Pit on a sunny day, and don't wear something nice: The seating is a couple of picnic tables outside the order window, and the barbecue sandwiches of brisket or pork, with mild-medium-or-hot sauce (and... (more)

Its too bad the Pecos Pit is only open at lunch time because their sandwiches are just indiscribable. Its worth the drive if you are down near Starbuck's headquarters to bop over and grab a bbq beef, pork or chicken... (more)

I have been called, at both AT&T Wireless and elsewhere (where I used to work) the guru of BBQ. I think I've tried most of them .. and many in Texas as well. Is there any doubt that Pecos Pit is the best west of the Pecos? You... (more)
