Business Description

Aphasia Speaks provides socialization and communication enrichment groups to individuals who have aphasia caused by stroke or brain injury. Groups are designed to enhance improvement in speaking, reading, writing and understanding. We offer a group that teaches individuals about apps for aphasia as well as computer technology as a means for communicating when verbal language is limited due to stroke. Aphasia Speaks also provides an opportunity for caregivers to learn how to better communicate with their loved one who has aphasia. We offer socialization groups for persons with aphasia providing them with the opportunity to interact and mingle with other stroke survivors also suffering with aphasia
