Saturday Arts in Union Beach Saturday January 26, 2013 1:30-3:00 PM Union Beach Library 810 Union Ave. Union Beach. Arts Healing Hearts is a nonprofit, grassroots network of volunteers, donors and partners who bring art workshops and projects to children in communities where disaster has struck. We wanted to help kids in the NJ and NY coastline neighborhoods hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy in late October 2012 ? we started in Union Beach, NJ. Saturday Arts, our pilot program, is a locally-based, weekly children?s art group facilitated by art therapists, local artists and volunteers. Our goal is to have the whole community join us in free, volunteer and donations-based projects. Guided activities as well as free-form art sessions will each have their time at Saturday Arts with an eye toward fun and creativity in a safe and supervised environment.
