Sustainable homes help slow global climate changeand save money. As a sustainable architecture firm, we believe that the best way to reduce your carbon footprint is to live in an energy-efficient home. The incrementally higher costs of sustainable construction are more than offset by savings in monthly energy costs.
Sustainable design means superior comfort and air quality. We like to design extraordinarily well-insulated, nearly air-tight houses that minimize heat loss or gain. They are warm in winter and cool in summerwithout the costly HVAC systems found in conventional homes. A high-efficiency heat exchanger removes stale, interior air and brings in fresh, outdoor air without affecting the interior temperature. As an added benefit, our homes are quiet, cozy, and durable.
