Doctor's Weight Loss Centers (DWLC) was established in 1981 by Dr. Roy Heron in Alexandria, Virginia. With the tremendous success of the landmark practice, DWLC has since expanded to two convenient locations in the greater Washington, DC area with the newest office in Annapolis, MD: Heron's Weight Loss Center.
DWLC is the most comprehensive weight loss program in the U.S. today, without invasive surgeries such as gastric by-pass and stomach stapling. We treats patients as early as seven years old to adults in their 80's. The Heron program is a unique and effective combination of nutrition counseling, exercise advice, safe medication and easy guides to lifelong weight management without counting calories or weighing your foods.
