Melani is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, and provides safe, effective, natural treatment for women's health issues, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and acute and chronic diseases. Her research as Clinical Supervisor for Touro College in Lutheran Medical Center's labor and delivery ward on acupuncture usage during labor has been featured on NBC. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, she graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University and worked as an environmental scientist.
Melani feels so fortunate to have found a career that she loves. Acupuncture uses the body's own energy and strength to heal itself. In this way, Melani finds acupuncture incredibly empowering because it helps patients restore their own health naturally. It is the perfect complement to Western medicine.
