We are a local pediatrician with two offices serving both sides of the Hudson River. Our main office which is in New Windsor is well established and has served the Orange County community for many years. We often see children of the children we had as patients. Our second location which we recently opened is in Beacon. Dr. Bernardez is a Beacon resident and saw the need for a local pediatrician. We believe that you and your children should get to know your pediatrician and develop a "continuity of care". Unlike the big medical groups where your child may see one doctor when sick and then follow up a few days later with another...and then see yet another doctor later in the year for a physical. Dr. Bernardez likes to have a more intimate hands on knowledge of any short term or long term issues of the children under her care. There are things that just can't be communicated by reading a chart or some electronic record check list. We maintain two offices and most of the time all after hours calls are answered promptly by either Dr. Bernardez, Dr. Latonero, or Donna our Nurse, (very experienced and thorough).
