Shoreline Golf Camp expects each camper to respect themselves and others at camp, as well as the facilities and natural surroundings. All campers are expected to behave responsibly and appropriately at all times. At the discretion of the Camp Director, a camper may be dismissed for the remainder of his / her session for a serious infraction or for consistently inappropriate behavior. If, in the rare instance that a camper is asked to leave due to behavioral problems, a pro-rated refund will be made for the days not attended. While Your Child Is At Camp We strongly recommend that each camper bring the following items to camp each day in a well marked bag or backpack: hat sneakers or golf shoes insect repellant sunscreen rain coat or poncho water bottle golf bag, clubs and balls (if not renting golf equipment). Campers may bring cell phones, electronic games and personal music devices (e.g. ipods) for use during breaks. However, these devises cannot be used during golf instruction and practice sessions or during rounds of golf. (Shoreline Golf Camp is not responsible for any such items lost or stolen at camp.) At the end of each day, parents should check with their campers to ensure that they have all of their belongings. We will make every effort to return any items marked with your camper’s name directly to them during their session. Shoreline Golf Camp is not responsible for items that are left behind. All unclaimed articles will be donated to a charitable organization at the end of the summer. Each morning or afternoon when campers are dropped off at camp they will be greeted by a camp staff member who will have the parent / guardian sign in the camper. Similarly, at the end of each half day session parents/guardians will be required to sign their child out with a camp staff member. Should a medical emergency arise with a camper, the camper’s parent / guardian will be immediately notified and the camper will be taken to the nearest local emergency treatment facility unless otherwise instructed by the parent / guardian. Any medical costs incurred while at the emergency treatment facility are the responsibility of the parent / guardian. Shoreline Golf Camp is open every day for every session, regardless of weather. It is therefore very important that parents check the weather forecast the evening before each camp day to determine the proper clothing requirements for the next camp day. In very rare instances where the weather forecast is extremely bad, the camp director reserves the option of cancelling the next day’s session and, in such instances, will contact the parents of the campers the evening before the cancellation. A pro-rated refund will be made for any such cancellations.
