City Tavern is truly a unique Downtown Neighborhood pub/restaurant and meeting place. As you enter, the warm friendly feeling of a Chicago Style pub surrounds you as you are guided to a cozy booth, a prominent place at the bar with the smiling bartender or perhaps by the cafe windows - great for people watching! The game room/ dining room upstairs , designed with a neighborhood motif, maintains the beauty of the building dating to the early 1900's. On the weekends, live bands rock the Downtown in the safety of the Main street address and the healthy parking garage across the street is affordable and secure. The menu features daily specials, entree-size salads, and great juicy burgers with crispy fries. The bar is a great start to ending a long day Downtown with co-workers at the nightly happy hour or for casual dining with family and friends. Come on in, we have a friendly place for you.
