We took our son there, who loved it. Especially the whole "petting the sharks" thing. And a great thing about this place is it's proximity to Famous Dave's BBQ. (more)

There are 12,500 animals at the Long Beach Aquarium. The shark lagoon and petting zoo is awsome. The many exhibits, what more can you do for an entire fun filled day and spend time with the family.... (more)

Yes it is a little pricey.....BUT.....It is a nonprofit facility. There are a lot of volunteers that work there also EVERYONE that works there seem to be happy to be there, and well informed. Even the people that work... (more)
