BEST SHRIMP COCKTAIL IN TOWN!!! I'd even venture to say it's better than any I've had in Florida too. The steaks melt in your mouth and the service is impecable! (more)

FANTASTIC food. Definitely a high priced restaurant, you can easily spend over $100.00 on two people, but if that's what you're out for, it was definitely worth it. I didn't know anybody served prime rib this big, and... (more)

Had dinner with a group of 10, I always heard that St.Elmo's was the place to be. It's just not for me. The steaks are over rated, over priced, and absolutly no flavor what so ever. And who in the world told the chef that... (more)

My friends and I enjoyed the best steak and service ever. We still talk about the experience and are planning a return trip to Indy just to enjoy St. Elmo's. We're fairly well traveled and have enjoyed many steakhouses... (more)

When you reach this quality level of steak house, you can guarantee that meat will be dreamy. What this steakhouse offers over all of the others in Indy, is the most unbelievable, fabulous, shrimp cocktail. The... (more)

Great Restaurant in downtown Indy. I recommend the excellent Prime Rib. You get a choice of tomato juice or bean soup with your meal (Get the bean soup--you won't be disappointed--even if you don't like bean soup).... (more)

The service and waitstaff were great...the food, no. The potato was served to me cold. Not even lukewarm, cold. My wifes' strip steak was cooked to med-rare, not med-well as she had ordered. Now here's the best part,... (more)

This is a great restraunt to get a taste of the local scene. Here's the low down: Ambiance - Great ambiance, the bar is classic and bustling, while the dining area is perfect for a romantic dinner or group get... (more)

I don't know why no one gives Indy credit for doing things right, but this is one place that deserves praise. I'm sorry to those of you that had negative experiences - especially on a visit to town - but as an Indy native... (more)

After repeatedly telling the waiter we didn't want the cocktail the service went downhill from there. My Prime Rib was overcooked as was my wife's strip. Terrible rolls and awful sides. Navy Bean or tomato juice?... (more)

There were six of us at dinner. 3 out of 6 had problems with their steak. My steak had a vein running through it bigger than any of my own. Fat galore on a 34 dollar steak! I've honestly had a better steak for 9.99 at Logans... (more)

After much anticipation to dine here, I found it overpriced and disappointing. First, I could not be seated until my "date" arrived. (He was parking and was enough of a gentleman to drop me at the door...) Next, if I... (more)

St Elmos is a great throwback to the classic steakhouse. You can often find Peyton Manning or somebody similar at the bar and the shrimp cocktail has a horseradish sauce that will clear any sinus congestion. Our... (more)
