Should I Self-Publish My Book?
Self publishing my book was one of the most difficult endeavors I've done. It was also one of the most rewarding and enjoyable time of my life. I recommend self-publishing. In my opinion, it is the best route to publish your book. However, it is hard work. There is no easy or quick way to self-publish your book. You must follow a series of steps. Here's my tip for today:
TIP: Stay away from publishing companies who will publish your book for a small fee such as $500 dollars or less. You'll end up with fewer copies of your printed book. Yes, they make the process easier to publish. But in the end you'll have less copies of your book to sell.
Instead, find a company who is experienced in printing paperback or hardcopy books. By taking this route, you'll have full control of your book design and printing. Check out at least three (3) book printing companies, experienced and well-established. Ask to see copies of other books they have printed. Get written quotes and negotiate the lowest price you can.
