As in many things in life business follows a very common trend. Reputation is king. Can your business afford to have an unprofessional presence? The answer is no. This day in age a business can not afford to not be online....Unless. Unless their website does more harm than good. If a potential customer shows up on your website and is turned away because it is ugly, unprofessional, outdated, or non functioning you have lost a customer that might otherwise have meant money to your business.
Now imagine that a customer shows up to your site but instead of being turned off by design flaws or technical difficulties they find your services, rates, and contact information. Imagine that the potential customer is now a paying customer. How much is that paying customer worth. Many times I hear the argument that business love to use. "well, we are trying to keep costs down..."
I'm Sorry but, I don't buy that. Shouldn’t it be more about keeping profits up, than keeping costs down? It's very simple and very proven that websites generate business and great websites can catapult a business to the next level. The most simple way to find out if you need a professionally designed website for you business is to simply ask whether or not your competitor will beat you to the punch.... and maybe they already have.
