It’s all about the Experts and the Technology

As a consultant and corporate safety manager, he has written HASPs (Health and Safety Plans) for some of the largest projects in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Washington DC, and has managed safety programs for scores of construction sites throughout the Northeast.
As an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer he is affiliated with OSHA Region I and has taught at the NYCCT Academy Occupational Heath and Construction Safety in Brooklyn, NY. He has also trained hundreds of craftsman, superintendents and project managers with construction companies in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.
Being a seasoned Construction Safety Specialist with over 25 years of experience, Bob understands that tracking safety compliance and trending is absolutely necessary for companies to set goals and to target improvements in their safety programs. With experience on his side, Bob has developed and copyrighted a Safety Tracking System (STS) that has been deployed on many of his past and present construction projects. This proprietary STS software, deployed over a decade ago, was developed with construction companies in mind and, through the test of time, has tracked corporate and jobsite safety performance with consistent accuracy.
How does our Safety Tracking System (STS) benefit our clients?
The primary function of STS is to effectively track on-going safety performance for construction projects that are self-performed, subcontracted or complex multi-location projects. The STS takes the safety observations of physical jobsite(s) safety evaluations, audits, and inspections, and converts these observations into a numerical evaluation that is then further converted to an accurate trend line.
As a standard offering to our clients and common software tool for our consultants, STS is a more economical choice then off-the-shelf or third party tracking systems. The STS data input runs on Lotus 123 and Excel platforms which offer the end user a customizable report that is easy to read and understand.
“In real time, management can see where corporate and jobsite(s) safety performance has been and in which direction it is going!”
The accuracy of the STS is most effective when safety evaluations, audits, and inspections are done at regularly intervals (i.e. weekly, monthly, bi-monthly to quarterly). Early deployment of the software is key to the reduction of jobsite losses. If used properly this is an excellent evaluation tool for jobsite supervisors to better understand where to focus their energy when making corrections to potential safety hazards and safety violations.
“The details of the STS report shows which jobsite hazards are occurring, where they are occurring and breaks down their percentages of the total risk!”
