Choosing the right portable defibrillator

Choosing the right Portable defibrillator or otherwise known as an aed or aed machine is very important. Most AEDs are very easy to use and guide you step by step what to do in case of an emergency. always determine the setting the defibrillator will be used in and ask some basic questions. Are there children going to be in the area? what kind of storage do you need? Is it going to be used quite frequently? who will maintain the aed?

these are all very important questions that will guide you to what aed you purchase and the accessories to go with it. If it is going to be used in a factory where there are no children there is no sense in purchasing child pads or a child key. If the AED Machine will be stored where it can get wet, it would be a great idea to get a waterpoof case. If your aed is for a first responder group or a senior citizen home where it will be used frequently spare batteries and spare pads should be purchased so that you are always prepared.

Finally find a distributor that not only gives you a great price on the aed but also has low prices on the accessories such as Philips AED pads - M5071A and the heartStart battery  M5070A or the M3863A used in the fr2. consumable such as these are replaced every couple years and can be a big expense especially if you have multiple units so its important to get the very best price you cn but always use genuine products for you aed not generic your life may depend on it.
